Eh, just let it melt!
well you can't exactly leave all that snow on the windshield while you're driving, in my opinion...
you can't exactly shovel it off the windshield either....let the stuff on the ground melt (no point in wasting time and energy on the small amount on the ground) and of course remove the snow from the car before driving.
