Don't have much time

I still can't believe how fast the days go by. I still need to get to the gym, write another 20 bars of music, somehow prepare myself for this show I'm at on Sunday, and start to create my marketing plan for this fall.

Yikes!!!!!!

But I had to post. Megan and I went and saw Rent last night in the movie theaters. It wasn't the movie version of Rent that came out a couple years ago. It's the filming of the last performance ever on Broadway. It was completely incredible to say the least. I loved the show everytime I saw it live, which was 3. I even loved the movie. But nothing beats live theater. It was completely excellent. Everyone in the cast was just incredible. Everytime I've seen it there have been different people in the starring roles. This cast was probably the best that I've seen. Just wonderful. So much emotion. I couldn't believe how great it was to see the stage show up on the screen. I hope they sell it on DVD. I may even like it better then the film version because none of the songs were cut.

For those of you who love the show, go spend the overpriced ticket cost to see it. Megan and I spent $50 last night on tickets, a soda, and milk duds. It was one of the best investments we've made. The show gives you such a great perspective on life and how to view friends and family.

Go see it!!!!!!!!

My to do list is way to big....

It's gotten to the point now that after I print out my to-do list, I just leave a ton of blanks, cause as soon as I complete one item, I think of 2-3 more items that need to be done. Crazy!

I feel like I am doing great work, but boy I wish the sales were much higher. But I know I'm still just getting the word out about my business. I need to be patient. But it's difficult!!!!

Maybe my meeting at the bank today will help. I can pretty much tell you what he's going to say. But I don't want to be negative!!!!

As soon as things get rolling with the business department at Dickinson College I will feel much better. My first major step that needs to be taken is my business plan. Once that is all written up and ready to be sent out for investors, I will feel much better.

I hope!!!

The weather here has been so pleasant lately. It hasn't gotten warmer than about 75 degrees. There's a nice breeze. It's the weather where you can wear a t-shirt, or a hoodie, and be perfectly comfortable. I love it! Hoodie weather is the best.

Here's me teaching drumline in a hoodie. Don't I look comfy?!?!

These were actually taken a while ago. Maybe even 2 years ago. Still hard to believe I've lived here that long.

Here's a glimpse of what this area will look like in about a month. This picture was taken probably 2 years ago as well. I need to update my pictures of Mechanicsburg. Even though we are missing the most important thing int he world, The Beach, this town is very quaint. I really love it here. Check out the leaves that had fallen!

So purty

Yet another blog

In case any of you are interested, I've started yet another blog.

This blog is hosted on my company's website. The blog is dedicated to my experiences building my company. I have read in numerous publications that blogging about your own company is a great way for outsiders to feel they are getting a peek inside. That sometimes turns them into a virtual support groups for the company, which in turns creates business. It's also thought to be a healthy way to express your feelings about your days working. I have become a fan of a few blogs that are dedicated to businesses and I thought I should join the crowd.

This is what all the "hip" young companies do anyway. Haha.

Thanks for the support!

So many things!!!!!

Well I am working from home. I am working my BUTT off. I am hoping and praying that my business takes off. I have MANY MANY things left to do. I believe it will happen though. Let's just hope that all of the things that are in place work. I think they will......

Today is one of those days that I REALLY miss living in California. My niece Sinclair is finally home. The whole family got together last night to celebrate with her. Check it out!

I am just going nuts. I can't believe Megan and I weren't there. These are the days I wish distance was NOT an object. These are the days that I wish MONEY was not an issue! I want to be able to tale 3-4 days off and fly to California to welcome my niece to the family. I want to be able to fly to Boston to hang with my brother Brad to see the Red Sox play the Angels. I want to go to New Hampshire to hang with my Niece Shiloh!!! Money sucks!!!!!!!

Well I know that God's plan is bigger and better than anything I could come up with. So I can be happy knowing that my purpose is much more than what I think it is. But sometimes I wish endless amount of money were involved! Haha

Ever since I became the sole owner of my business, I find myself working hard and longer every day. It really makes a difference when it is ALL yours. Megan and I were laughing the other day at my work place right now. I am NOT a desk job kind of person. The idea of sitting at a desk and working on a computer everyday sounds AWFUL!.

Well right now, I'm spending my days sitting at a desk and working at a computer all day long. Haha. Obviously it's very different. I'm at home, and it's my own business. But it's still pretty funny.

Well back to work. Wish me luck!!!

Sunday

Well ever since Facebook has come to light, I update this thing less and less. Even now, I don't feel like updating.

I am putting it on my to-do list for tomorrow. My list is growing at a rapid pace. Too much to do!

For now, it's time to watch football with my wife.

Good times with friends

Way too long.....

It has been too long since I've posted on this blog. I find myself updating my status on Facebook 3-4 times a day! I miss blogging. It might be because there are many more people that check my Facebook page then take the time to visit my blog. But then again, why should I even care who reads my blog. It's more about me having a place to just speak speak speak.

Megan and I have some friends coming over tonight. We are grilling up some marinated chicken and some burgers. My show at Hershey will only be on weekends now. After September 27th, I won't be performing at Hershey until next April. Even though our show was sloppy at times, I had a BLAST performing again. I love it. I think I'm actually sort of good at it.

Well people will be arriving any minute. I'm going to head downstairs, watch a little football while I wait.

I'm so anxious for so many things to happen over the next few months. I pray they do happen. :-)
